Nagasaki prefecture is relatively known to the world for its their tragedy of atomic bomb. The capital is also Nagasaki city (長崎). Nagasaki has the largest number of islands of all prefectures in Japan, and it is also full of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The culture in Nagasaki is also a bit different from other prefectures. The percentage of the Christian is bigger by 1.5 times than the average in other prefectures.
