Muslim Visitor Center Sapporo | The First Place for Muslim Travelers to Visit in Hokkaido

Are you a Muslim traveler visiting Sapporo and Hokkaido?

Looking for halal-friendly Japanese souvenirs, a place to pray, or simply somewhere to ask questions about your trip?

Muslim Visitor Center Sapporo is a place where Muslim travelers can stop by, shop, pray, and get travel information during their stay in Sapporo.

We want to be the first place Muslim travelers visit when they arrive in Hokkaido.

The access is a 10-minute walk from Sapporo city center, or a 3-minute walk from Nishi 11 chome station!

From a Muslim Travel Company to a Visitor Center

Muslim Visitor Center Sapporo was created by a travel company specializing in Muslim travel in Japan.

For years, we have helped Muslim travelers arrange tours, hotels, halal restaurants, sightseeing, and other travel services—mostly online before their trips.

But we wanted to do more.

We wanted to meet Muslim travelers in person, hear what they really need, and help make their experience in Hokkaido even better.

That is why we opened Muslim Visitor Center Sapporo.

Japanese Souvenirs Selected for Muslim Travelers

Japan has so many wonderful souvenirs, but finding products that Muslim travelers can confidently take home is not always easy.

At Muslim Visitor Center Sapporo, every product is carefully selected according to strict criteria.

Everything we sell is halal or Muslim-friendly.

Our selection includes:

  • Japanese sweets and snacks
  • Hokkaido specialties
  • Instant meals
  • Beverages and tea
  • Travel and baby essentials
  • Other Japanese souvenirs

These are not simply products chosen from an ordinary souvenir shop. We specifically look for products that Muslim travelers would want to take home as a memory of Japan.

If you are looking for Japanese souvenirs that are both suitable for Muslim travelers and difficult to find elsewhere, this is the place to visit in Sapporo.

Prayer Space

We also have a Prayer Space available for Muslim travelers.

Please note that Wudu facilities are not available, so please perform Wudu before visiting if needed.

You are welcome to stop by to pray, shop, or simply ask us about traveling around Sapporo and Hokkaido.

Need Help Sending Your Luggage Home?

Bought too many souvenirs?

We can also help you arrange the shipment of your purchases to your airport of departure.

If you don’t want to carry your souvenirs throughout the rest of your trip, please ask our staff about available shipping options.

Please Check Instagram Before Visiting

Muslim Visitor Center Sapporo is a small visitor center located inside our travel company’s office, rather than a large retail store.

Our opening days, hours, and product selection may change.

Please check our official Instagram before visiting.

If you want to make sure we are open, or if you are visiting with a group of 8 or more people, please contact us in advance.

Advance contact is especially important for larger groups so that we can prepare for your visit.

Your First Stop in Sapporo

We hope Muslim Visitor Center Sapporo will become the first place Muslim travelers visit in Sapporo—a place where you can find Japanese souvenirs, pray, ask questions, and connect with people who understand your travel needs.

We look forward to welcoming you.
