Shikoku region

Shikoku is an island that floats over Seto inner sea(瀬戸内海), and there are 4 prefectures. Kagawa(香川) which may be the region’s capital, Tokushima(徳島), Ehime(愛媛), and Kochi(高知). The region remains still unknown to the tourists, as the region is isolated from the mainland and still has no World Heritage site. But this is also the reason why many tourists can discover unknown Japanese beauty.

Shikoku has been considered as a very sacred place for Buddhist. People have visited the island to do a pilgrimage, and even now it is attracting so many people.
The area has so many beautiful nature and traditional festivals, and the weather is so mild, too.
People usually reach the region by driving or taking a ferry from mainland.
