Wakayama is a prefecture facing to the Pacific Ocean, with the capital city Wakayama (和歌山). The prefecture is located in a very mild and warm area, except for some mountain areas. Their specialty is mandarin oranges, called as Satsuma in U.K., and plums.
The prefecture is not so much known as Kyoto or Osaka, however, there are many UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and it is full of nature, so that the place is definitely where can never miss.
