Shimane is a prefecture which is located at the end of Honshu, mainland of Japan, whose capital city is Matsue city (松江). The prefecture has been a holy place for Japanese people because of the top shrine that exists here.
The prefecture itself is nomadic and it still is considered as a countryside, but that is one reason why we can enjoy great Japanese philosophy here.
