Is the Vegan Ramen Halal?
Ichiran at Midosuji has introduced No Pork broth Ramen, but it is not Halal because their broth is using not-religiously processed chicken. Since they stopped selling this no more No Pork souvenir Ramen, it has been pretty difficult for many Muslims to find a suitable Ramen.
The great thing for this newly introduced Ramen is that the Ramen is made as a complete Vegan, which means there is no ingredients derived from animal!
However, what we have to be careful when judging if the vegan food is Halal or not is usage of alcohol. As far as we have checked, there is soy sauce used, which can include tiny portion of alcohol.
In conclusion, the noodle is complete vegan, which means there is no animal product used. However, there is a still a small risk of usage of alcohol.

Although the product is not Halal-certified, it is a great product who can accept the usage of tiny alcohol, because the alcohol is all gone when cooked.
They have just started selling the product in October 2023, and so far only the branch at Midosuji has this Vegan souvenir available.
