Mother Moon Cafe has several branches in the Osaka and Kobe region, built around the concept of “Farm to Table,” which emphasizes healthy and safe food for all diners.

Their menu features fresh vegetables with a clear origin, ensuring both quality and freshness. As of September 2025, their Kobe city center branch in the Sannomiya area offers a vegan menu. It is located on the 6th floor of the Mint Kobe shopping building.

The building is conveniently located in the city center, just a 5-minute walk from JR Sannomiya Station and other nearby train stations.

The restaurant offers several vegan dishes without the need for prior reservation, all at very reasonable prices. With its casual yet sophisticated ambiance, Mother Moon Cafe is enjoyable not only for its Muslim-friendly menu but also for its stylish setting.

What is available at Mother Moon Cafe?

The restaurant offers several vegan menu options; however, they do not identify as Muslim-friendly. This means that some dishes may contain small amounts of alcohol, so please use your own discretion.

However, they have several vegan dishes. Since their vegan choices such as pasta, curry and grilled vegetable dishes are usually cooked without alcoholic seasonings, we are sure many Muslims can consider the food as Halal!

We chose their vegan pasta dish. The sauce is soy sauce based and topped with lots of fresh vegetable toppings.

This pasta is prepared with Japanese seasonings, making it a dish you can only truly enjoy in Japan. The portion was generous and very satisfying!
