Ehime is a prefecture in Shikoku, facing to the Seto inland sea with the capital city of Matsuyama (松山). Ehime is the most touristic and popular spots for Japanese travelers in Shikoku, for their famous spots.
Their warm climate is famous for growing citrus fruits. Iyokan (伊予柑), which is a kind of orange, is an example. Iyo is the old name of Ehime, so it literally means orange of Ehime. The taste is a bit sour, but their refreshing flavor is popular throughout Japan.
